Randy Genz Accepts New Role as Agri-Service Regional Sales Manager
Agri-Service is pleased to announce that Randy Genz from our Moses Lake location has accepted a new role as Regional Sales Manager. Working in this role, Randy will help manage a team of Sales Representatives throughout our territories.
The role of Regional Sales Manager is new to Agri-Service and is intended to provide greater service to customers in the area and streamline the working experience for sales reps.
Randy has worked at Agri-Service since 2017 as a Sales Representative in Pasco and Moses Lake, Washington. At 15, after moving to the Portland area, Randy was introduced to the joy of farming on his dad’s hobby farm. With a growing interest in this industry and culture, he joined 4H and his local FFA chapter where he would show cattle.
After graduating from high school, Randy attended Linn-Benton Community College to study agricultural business. In the years after, he worked on a ranch and then a grass seed farm. One could say he is a nerd for grass-related farming.
Randy applied for a sales position at a local New Holland dealership in ’99 after the farmer who ran the grass farm he worked at retired, and he has been selling farm equipment ever since. Passionate about farm equipment and the leading quality of AGCO products, Randy moved to Agri-Service in 2017, and we’re grateful for the depth of knowledge he has brought to our organization.
During his time at Agri-Service, Randy was instrumental in bringing Massey 3-tie balers to his market and customers in Eastern Washington. As an enthusiast of the hay industry, he saw the superiority of this implement, and after demonstrating just two machines the first year, he sold 20 in the next. So, if you need to know more about swathers, balers, or other hay-related equipment, Randy is your guy!
Now, in his new role as Regional Sales Manager, Randy is looking forward to growing the Agri-Service sales team and improving how we meet our customers’ needs. Through strong, trustworthy, and communicative relationships, our new and existing customers can look forward to a reinvigorated era of machine and implement sales at Agri-Service.
When he’s not working, you can often catch Randy out fishing with his wife, Carri, or his three children. And be sure to ask him about his four pug mixes: Abby, Molly, Maizy, and Bidi. You might also be able to catch Randy fixing up or racing stock race cars. Currently, he’s restoring an old Ford Pinto Mini Stock, which is expected to hit the track next year in Hermiston, the Tri-Cities, and possibly beyond.
Please join us in congratulating Randy and wishing him well in this new role with Agri-Service!
