Dry Application Techniques

Speaker: Terry Hanson, Agri-Service

Liquid Chemical Application Techniques

Tim Krueger from AGCO will provide insights on liquid application. This session will cover effective application techniques, calibration, drift prevention, essential safety factors, equipment features, and maintenance practices that ensure safe mixing, loading, and cleaning.

Updates and Safety in Chemigation

Speaker: Westy Pickup, State of Idaho

Westy Pickup will present the latest state updates and address critical safety practices for chemigation. He’ll also cover the effects of weather on pesticide application and essential pesticide safety measures.

Agronomic and Environmental Conditions Affecting Chemigation

Speaker: Jared Spackman, University of Idaho

Jared Spackman will explore how soil and the presence of noxious weeds impact chemigation processes and fertility management. This session examines agronomy and environmental considerations that influence application effectiveness.

The Importance of Droplet Size, Herbicide Labeling, and Compliance

Speaker: Tyson Harris, Precision Planting
