This months employee spotlight is Jill Rockwell. Jill is the Service Writer for Vantage-Northwest which is the Precision Farming division of Agri-Service. Now is your chance to get to know more about this incredible lady!
Who would you most like to swap places with at work for a day? Honestly… it would be Keith, on his landscaping day. I love working outside in the yard when the weather is nice. Nothing like the smell of fresh cut grass, the breeze, and perfectly straight lines in the lawn.
What are some of your pet peeves? Non-straight lines on my lawn!
What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this? If I had the degree, I would be an advocate for deaf children and their parents. I love helping people. I love seeing little kids’ eyes light up when they see that I know sign language. I grew up reading lips, learning sign language, and had the experience of going through my cochlear implant journey in my mid-30’s. I volunteer online to help other adults with theirs and it’s so rewarding to me.
What are you favorite indoor/outdoor activities? Kayaking, motorcycle rides, and cruising in the old Camaro with my husband. He’s the coolest, kindest guy I know!
